Ryszard Wojtkowski
Ryszard Wojtkowski is a co-founder and a Managing Partner.
He joined The Carlyle Group as Fund Head and Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe in 2007.
Prior to that he spent seven years as a Managing Partner in Enterprise Investors. He led eight investments in consumer products, retail, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, manufacturing and construction sectors.
Earlier he was the President of Novartis Consumer Health International SA (Switzerland), President of Alima Gerber and head of Gerber Eastern Europe, as well as Deputy General Manager of Cola-Cola Poland Services.
He also served as the Chief of Staff to four consecutive Polish Prime Ministers.
Ryszard is a member of the Council of the Civil Development Forum. He was also CEO of the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Advisory Board of the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.
He is also a Chairman of University Council at University of Economics in Katowice.
He graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice and studied at Harvard Business School.
