We are the majority shareholder in Interchem
We signed an investment agreement to acquire shares and increase capital in Interchem.
Interchem S.A. Group was established in 1996. Since 2000 the company has been developing its network of “Aster” drugstores. Currently, the network includes 119 shops, mainly in the northeastern Poland, located in small and medium towns. The company is also one of the largest wholesalers in household and personal care products.
“We have gained a strong financial partner, thanks to whom our group will actively participate in the dynamic growth of the Polish household and personal care market and will strengthen its position on this market, said Paweł Chodakowski-Malkiewicz, CEO of Interchem.
“We have decided to acquire a majority stake in Interchem S.A., as the company’s expansion potential impressed us. We strongly believe in the company’s organic growth, as well as the potential to consolidate the Polish market,” said Piotr Noceń, Managing Partner of Resource Partners.
In accordance with an earlier agreement, we bought additional shares from the minority shareholders and increased our stake in Golpasz S.A. from 67 per cent to 85 per cent. We have been an investor in Golpasz S.A. since December 2015.
