Aleksander Kacprzyk
Aleksander Kacprzyk is a co-founder and a Managing Partner.
He joined The Carlyle Group as Director responsible for Central and Eastern European buyout investments in 2007.
For four years he was an Investment Director at Enterprise Investors where he worked on investments in consumer products, business outsourcing and healthcare, which were realized via IPOs on Warsaw Stock Exchange or sales to strategic investors.
Prior to that he was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. and an investment banker at Merrill Lynch in London. Earlier, he co-founded a publishing house and worked as the CFO at a start-up trading company.
He is a Chairman of University Council at Wroclaw Medical University.
He holds a PhD degree in Information Technology, an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.Sc. in Management from the University of Minnesota and he also graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics.
