Melvit S.A. acquires leading Lithuanian brands of groats, cereals and rice.
On 24 January 2013 Melvit S.A. acquired from UAB Pregam the trademarks: Granum, Granum Extra and Le Chef, under which, cereals, rice, and other bulk products are offered in modern and traditional sales channels in Lithuania. Following this transaction, Melvit is planning to increase availability of its products in Lithuania, as well as to offer new products under the purchased brands on the Polish market and other export markets.
