Resource Partners will invest PLN30 million in a producer of groats and flakes –Melvit. The funds will be used for M&As in Poland and the Baltic countries.
"We are talking with several organizations interested in acquisitions in the Baltic countries. But we are also interested in domestic companies in this sector. Taking into account the size of the Baltic market the companies we may target would be smaller than Melvit," said Ryszard Wojtkowski,Managing Partner of Resource Partners, in an interview with Portalspozywczy.pl.
Melvit plans to use funds to also modernize its production capacity. "We want to help the company strengthen its market share," said Wojtkowski.
