Resource Partners invested in the development of MAVIT Medical Center
Funds managed by Resource Partners participated in the capital increase and acquired a 30% equity stake in Centrum Medyczne MAVIT Sp. z o.o. (“MAVIT Medical Center”)
“We decided to attract new equity in order to accelerate our investment plans, which include supplementing our specialized hospital in Katowice with a new ophthalmology ward” said Ryszard Stolarski, co-founder and Head of Supervisory Board at MAVIT Medical Center.

MAVIT Medical Center was established in 2000 as a Private Healthcare Facility and has been operating an ophthalmology center in Bielany district of Warsaw since then. In 2003 the Company opened an ophthalmology diagnostics center in Ursynów district of Warsaw. MAVIT Medical Center has so far served over 93 thousand ophthalmological patients, performed over 15.5 thousand of cataract removal procedures and 6 thousand of laser eye correction procedures.
This year a new specialized hospital was opened in Katowice. The hospital includes a laryngological and a maxillofacial surgery ward, as well as offers advanced audiology diagnostic. Opening a new state-of-the-art ophthalmological ward in the Katowice hospital is scheduled for 2011.

PLG group signs agreement to acquire iaBilet
PLG group, one of the reputable ticketing groups in the Baltics and Central Europe, has signed an agreement to acquire iaBilet, a well-established Romanian ticketing platform, from Resource Partners, one of the largest CEE private equity firms, alongside the company's founders, who will remain engaged in the business and are expected to continue contributing to its development, including at board level. The sale, agreed eight months after Resource Partners' initial investment, marks a highly successful exit for the Fund, delivering expedited returns to its investors.
